Middle School hosted an ‘Egypt Day’ linked to our History topic we have been learning about during the last half term.

The whole school was invited to dress up and join in with a carousel of activities during the afternoon. We played with sand and water in the River Nile; wrapped ourselves up as mummies and performed a ‘mummy dance’; built huge pyramids in the sports hall (and then knocked them down); and decorated Egyptian collars and pendants in a craft workshop.

The pupils and staff had a fantastic time and experienced something of what Ancient Egypt was like and how different it was to how we live today.
