Last Wednesday, the students from 8B went to say goodbye to the Garden House. After many great years of use, the House is now needed for other purposes and we are sadly not able to use it any more. It has been a hugely valuable resource, but there are plans afoot for Breakspeare students to continue to develop their Daily Living Skills. In the meantime, we all had a great time having lunch there, before saying a sad “goodbye”. Before we left, we dug a hole in the garden, played our lunchtime table mats in a biscuit tin, and buried the tin in the garden. The students have each made their own table mat when they started using the house, and have used them every week, so it was a way of leaving a little part of Breakspeare behind!
