Belle and Ruby are two rather large rabbits that, in November, took up residency in their hut located in Class 2’s playground. They are proving to be extremely popular additions to our school community with all classes having the opportunity to visit and get to know them.

Belle and Ruby will provide a bridge for the students to learn about the importance of being kind and gentle and ultimately the joy of companionship. They will prove to be a successful teaching and learning experience for both verbal and non-verbal students as they learn how to interact and respond to them. Already Belle and Ruby are bringing pleasure and joy to the students’ school day.
