We are extremely proud of our students’ achievements and we want to share these with you. This page will create a ‘WALL OF PRIDE’ that will get stronger and longer as our website continues to celebrate the students’ successes and important school events.

Below you will find a link to the blog ‘WD4and 5’ which is designed to share students’ learning from a range of different schools in Abbots Langley village. Please press ‘ABBOTS CLUSTER’ to find ‘WD4and5’ blog.

Breakspeare School as a part of Abbots in Transition has won a Bronze Award with our partner schools.

The Early Years classes enjoyed a trip to Willows Farm as part of their farm topic.

Leslie and Francine from ‘Families in Focus’ (FiF) deliver 4 workshops for the parents.

The first workshop, ‘Understanding behaviour of children with additional needs that challenges parents’ that was delivered on Friday 5th February 2016 was a great success. We had 10 parents from Breakspeare and 3 from other schools joining together. Parents found that Leslie and Francine shared information and knowledge in a way that is driven from their own experience of having a child with additional needs.

Art, Life and beyond was the title of a most wonderful art exhibition held at Breakspeare School in 26th of November. It was the first time that our school had organised such an event and it proved to be extremely popular with everyone. Each student was represented by an example of his or her artwork, which had been expertly presented and displayed. It was a most joyous celebration of achievement and one that everyone who attended thoroughly appreciated.

Belle and Ruby are two rather large rabbits that, in November, took up residency in their hut located in Class 2’s playground. They are proving to be extremely popular additions to our school community with all classes having the opportunity to visit and get to know them.
