PARENTS

For students to achieve success at Breakspeare School parents, students and school work closely together. Each partner has an equally important role to play in this partnership for successful learning.  

We encourage our parents to visit the school, to write regularly in the home-school diaries and to attend educational meetings at school.  If you have any concerns or questions please contact the class teacher or a member of leadership as soon as possible.

Our forms of communication with the parents include telephone calls, home-school diary, letters, emails via Parent Mail, text messages via Parent Mail, parent evenings and workshops, target setting meetings, Annual Review meetings, Educational Health and Care Plan meetings, transition meetings, events and celebrations, multiagency meetings with our medical or therapy team or with other professionals.  You will also receive a curriculum report twice a year about your child’s progress.

In order for us to further develop our links with the parents and get feedback we regularly send questionnaires and surveys to the parents. All views are important – weather you are pleased or have a concern. If you do have a concern please share this with the school as early as possible   – partnership is crucial and we aim to address any concern at its very early stages.

Message from Ofsted: Parent View gives you the chance to tell us what you think about your child’s school.
